Online versus Classroom Traffic School

30 Sep Blog | Comments

Why do people make the decision to take a Traffic School Course? And how do they decide whether to take that course online or in a classroom? To answer the first question, to remove a 1-point citation from their driving record which can help in several ways. First, it keeps their driving record from getting out of hand. If they have a job that requires them to drive they have to be careful about how many points they get on their driver’s license.

Another reason people take a Traffic School Course is to keep their insurance rates from going up. Car insurance companies have been known to hike up a person’s insurance rates for getting even just one citation. By taking a Traffic School Class a person can get a 1-point traffic ticket removed from his or her driving record.

To answer the second question, a person has the choice, to take the Traffic School Course online or in a classroom. The decision is a personal one, based on many factors.

  • What type of learner are you? – Are you the type of person that needs the guidance of an instructor, setting the pace, so that you move through the course efficiently? Or are you the type of learner that likes to work independently, so that you can move at your own pace?
  • How much time do you have on your hands? – Is your schedule full to the brim with activities? Or do you have a lighter schedule allowing you to make it to a class, every week at the same time?
  • How fast do you need to complete the course? – If you take the course online you are able to move through the course as quickly as you need to. If you choose to take the course in a classroom setting it could be a 6-8 week class.
  • Where are you most comfortable and most productive? – Do you work better at home in your pajamas? Then the online class route is probably a good choice for you. Or do you need to get up, shower, get dressed and go to a classroom to be the most productive?

When taking a Traffic School Course a person has the option of taking it online or in a classroom. Either option will get the person the same result, a 1-point traffic citation removed from his or her driving record. One option allows a person to take the course in their own home, whenever it is convenient for them, and at a pace that works for them.

Taking the Traffic School Class in a classroom can work for a person also. It has an instructor that will help set the pace of the class. It requires a person to be at a certain place, at a specific time, for every class. Sometimes having that responsibility helps keep a person on track.

Taking a Traffic School Course can be done online or in a classroom depending on your specific needs.
