My name is Steve Young and I am a retired California Highway Patrol Officer. I will also be your instructor in one of the online traffic courses with B Line Traffic Schools. No matter what course you sign up for, my goals are the same: Present you with the information that you need in a way that will not put you to sleep and then get you back to your life.  Throughout some of the courses I have included interesting situations, people and other random things I have come across in my 25+ years with the CHP to break things up a bit. Ok ok, enough about me. Close this window and start your course with B Line Traffic Schools today.

Traffic School from Home

Whether you need to take traffic school because of a traffic violation, are wanting to get your driver’s license, first license or a Class C license, or are an older person and want to take a refresher class you have some options. You can take the class in a traditional classroom setting, or you could take the class online. Either option is a fine choice, however choosing to take a class online gives you different options that 10 years ago did not exist.

I don’t know about you, but I know that as I get older my life gets a lot busier rather than slowing down. And now with children added in, their lives continue to get busier as they get older as well. As life gets more hectic it makes it more difficult to schedule things. One of the great things about taking traffic school online is that you can squeeze it in whenever you have a bit of time. That time might be after homework, or it could be in the evening after dinner. That time could also be in between basketball practice and dinner or it could be Saturday morning.

Another great aspect of taking a traffic school online is that you can take it in the comfort of your home, at the nearest coffee shop, or at any place that offers Wi-Fi. I rather like the idea of taking a class online in my pajamas. Or if my little one is sick that day, I can get him to bed and then keep an eye on him while taking the class at the same time. It makes for being able to be very productive. Or if I am waiting for a flight at the airport and have 60 minutes to kill, I can go on and get through some more of the course.

A third perk of taking traffic school from home is that you can start and stop at any time. My grandma likes to volunteer so if she were taking a Mature Driver class online, she might go through a chapter and then have to leave to go do her thing. She could stop where ever she was, log out, go volunteer, come back later and pick up just where she left off. Or if you are working on getting your driver’s license for the first time all that information may seem very overwhelming. Taking the class online gives you the option to go over material at your own pace. It also allows you to go back over any material you didn’t quiet grasp the first time around so you feel more confident.

Yet another perk is the money you will save. Think about how much you pay in gas every month. Now think about driving to and from a class for several weeks. You are bound to spend some money in gas. Also, courses that take place in a classroom usually have to pay rent, making the course more costly to you.

Ultimately you need to decide which way is best for you and your particular situation. If you are a more traditional type student, then taking traffic school in a classroom setting might be for you. However, if you have a crazy, busy schedule, like the idea of being in the comfort of your own home while taking a class, would like the option of taking the course at your own pace and when you have time, and want to save some money then traffic school online is a great alternative to going to an actual classroom setting.
