My name is Steve Young and I am a retired California Highway Patrol Officer. I will also be your instructor in one of the online traffic courses with B Line Traffic Schools. No matter what course you sign up for, my goals are the same: Present you with the information that you need in a way that will not put you to sleep and then get you back to your life.  Throughout some of the courses I have included interesting situations, people and other random things I have come across in my 25+ years with the CHP to break things up a bit. Ok ok, enough about me. Close this window and start your course with B Line Traffic Schools today.

Driver’s Education Online

29 Dec Blog | Comments

Learning how drive is no easy task. As we have learned over and over again there are tons of different kinds of learners out there. Some students learn at a faster rate, while others require a slower pace in order to absorb the material properly. Driver’s education online allows students to move at their own pace.

Driver’s education online courses have been properly approved by the state and have been designed by companies who are looking to teach the next generation. The courses have been designed to engage students in several different ways.

The courses offer real life stories, videos with examples and a practice exam at the end. By developing a course in this manner the next generation is more engaged in ways that are helpful to them, in the ways that they learn.

Another great aspect of driver’s education online courses is that the students can move at their own pace. So if the material in one of the chapters is something that student understands they can move through it more quickly. However, if there’s a section that is more challenging for them they are able to go back over that material more than once, if necessary, and review the material until they’re comfortable.

The other perk about driver’s education courses online is that they can be worked on anywhere and anytime. Using a laptop or tablet a person taking the course only needs Wi-Fi, there are no textbooks to keep track of. Also, the courses can be stopped at any time and resumed when there is more time available. The course will pick up wherever the student left off.

The course will go over the rules of the road, laws that are specific to the state they live in and basic driving rules. Also included, is a practice test at the end, of each chapter and at the end of the course. The course must be completed and the student must get an 80% or better in order to receive the certificate necessary to complete their driver’s education course requirement.

The questions that are used are similar to the ones that they will see on the driver’s education written exam. This allows the student to feel as prepared as possible walking into their driver’s education written exam.

Most of these online driver’s education courses do fulfill the requirement that any person wishing to obtain a driver’s license must complete in order to take the actual exam at the DMV. It is important to make sure that the course you choose to take online is properly approved by the state.

Unfortunately there are companies out there who claim their course completes the requirement, but as they have not been approved it does not. The safest course of action here is to either check with the DMV once you have chosen the course you like to take, or call the DMV and ask them for suggestions.

Taking a driver’s education course online is a great option for many people. Everyone is so busy and there are such different learners. Driver’s education courses online allow a person to take the course at their leisure and at their own pace.
